The events of 2020 brought brand purpose to the forefront with consumers increasingly expecting brands to speak out about important social issues. Although there’s a thriving community of people of color working in the marketing and creative industries, their voices remain largely underrepresented.

Each month, Outside Voice invites a curator to build a playlist of inspiring music that reflects their personality and creative journey. The playlist includes spoken-word annotations from the creative between the songs, giving listeners a chance to hear about the curator’s passions and personal journey.
